Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need to plan a bachelor party in New Orleans, or can we just wing it?
While Bourbon Street doesn’t require much planning, the best parties include experiences you can’t just stumble into. Booking activities in advance ensures your group gets the most out of the weekend—without the stress.
What’s the best time of year to throw a bachelor party in New Orleans?
Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are ideal for good weather and lots of festivals. Summer can be hot and humid, and Mardi Gras season is wild but super crowded.
How far in advance should we start planning?
We recommend planning at least 6–8 weeks in advance to secure lodging, activities, and transportation—especially for larger groups or during festival weekends.
Do you offer bachelor party planning services?
Can you help with transportation during the weekend?
Many of our featured tours include hotel pickup, and we can connect you with reliable party bus, limo, or group ride services to keep your crew moving safely.
Are there activities for groups that don’t want to just drink all day?
Absolutely. From airboat swamp tours and shooting ranges to LSU football games, New Orleans has plenty of action beyond the bar scene.
What’s the deal with open container laws?
In New Orleans, it’s legal to drink alcohol in public—as long as it’s in a plastic cup. That means you can take your drink to go and keep the party moving.
Do you help with restaurant or club reservations?
We don’t make bookings directly, but we provide insider recommendations for places that are bachelor-party friendly—and we’ll steer you away from spots that don’t accommodate groups.
Can you recommend strip clubs that are safe and high quality?
Yes. Our guide includes only the best-rated strip clubs in the French Quarter that are known for excellent service, a good vibe, and no shady surprises.
What if we don’t have a final headcount yet?
That’s totally normal. Many vendors allow you to reserve now and finalize group size closer to your date. Just make sure to communicate early so no one gets left out!
